Poland Spring® 100% Natural Spring Water teams up with the New York Yankees for Bronx summer youth program

POLAND SPRING® Company is donating $125.00 for each win of the New York Yankees guaranteed minimum of $10,000. The money will go towards the maintenance and improvement of Elston Gene Howard Field, which is located on the site of the original Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York. POLAND SPRING® Company is also donating $500 each time a New York Yankees player hits the Poland Spring sign in left field, up to a maximum of $1,000.

Two evenings a week, about 300 young athletes between the ages of 12 and 18 from the Bronx, will have the chance to participate in tournament-style, co-ed baseball and softball games at Elston Gene Howard Field. The program will run from July 11 to the end of August.

The program is part of the New York Yankees new Summer Night Lights Program. Summer Night Lights is a collective effort to encourage youth to engage in baseball-related activities that demonstrate the positive way the game can serve as an outlet for recreation, social responsibility, and healthy competition.
