USC Quarterback Caleb Williams’ Foundation Partners up with The Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club to Host Anti-Bullying Event

During the University of Southern California football’s bye week, quarterback Caleb Williams and his foundation, Caleb Cares, teamed up with the Boys & Girls Challenger Club in Los Angeles, California to host an anti-bullying assembly during National Bullying Prevention Month on October 21, 2022. The event was created to shine a light on bullying and spread the message that kindness matters. The event kicked off with Caleb being interviewed by three of the student club members about bullying, football, and life outside of football. The students then broke off into work groups to role play different types of bullying: physical bullying, verbal bullying, and cyberbullying.

Starting in September 2022, Caleb and AC+ION® water have teamed up for the “Get Seriously Hydrated” campaign. As part of the collaboration, the company that owns the AC+ION® brand, BlueTriton Brands is supporting Caleb Cares, which helps empower the youth by anti-bullying and mental health awareness initiatives. BlueTriton Brands is donating $50,000 plus $1,300 for every touchdown Caleb scores (he’s number 13), until it hits a grand total of $76,000. In addition, the company has pledged to donate water and t-shirts at Caleb Cares events for students in the Los Angeles and DMV area.

During the event, Caleb presented the first Caleb Cares Hero Award to 4th grade club member Nyla for her leadership, respect, and willingness to fight bullying. Caleb Cares Foundation will be presenting the Hero Award each month to one club member for their effort to stop bullying.

To celebrate the winner, each Caleb Cares Hero Award recipient will receive gifts from Williams’ partners including bottles of AC+ION® water.
