Deer Park® 100% Natural Spring Water collects roughly 13K school supplies, donates sporting equipment to schools in North Carolina
Deer Park® 100% Natural Spring Water hosted ‘School Day’ at the Carolina Classic Fair and collected 12,843 school supplies for Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools.
Fairgoers who brought three new and packaged school supplies received free admission to the fair courtesy of the Deer Park® Brand. Fairgoers donated much needed items like pencils, pens, highlighters, tissues, binders, paper, and backpacks. They filled the Deer Park® Brand school bus with school supplies.
This year, the Deer Park® Brand is celebrating its 150th Anniversary.
“We are celebrating local traditions that have stood the test of time, just like our spring water. We were honored to be a part of the 141st annual Carolina Classic Fair in Winston-Salem,” said Grant Cowherd, Senior Brand Manager for Deer Park® Brand. “Supporting education and local communities is part of our core values, so we were thrilled to sponsor the first ever School Day at the fair to help make an impactful donation to the local school district.”
On October 3, former NFL tight end Greg Olsen paid a surprise virtual visit to the Kimberley Park Elementary School where he told students that new gym equipment like kickballs, basketballs, footballs, and jump ropes was being donated to their school.
The Carolina Classic Fair, which is an annual event, was held in Winston-Salem, North Carolina from September 29 to October 8, 2023. School Day was held on October 2.
